The Food Bank contacted local schools after Christmas to report unprecedented seasonal demand in the Wimborne area. The stock from Harvest and Christmas donations, which would normally last until well into the spring, had, by early January, dramatically reduced.  We responded in support by organising a non-uniform day in exchange for a voluntary food donations. Each school collected an impressive stockpile of tinned and dried foods for use at the Food Bank!
